Round 3: TWR vs RTK 2

Deadline: 3 May

At the beginning Captains of both teams are asked to provide information about the players who will fight in 1v1s and the players who will fight in 2v2s.

Main rules:

The match consists of 4 games:
2x 1v1s (1 point for each win),
2x 2v2s (2 points for each win).

TWR picks map and faction first in the first 1v1 and in the first 2v2. RTK 2 picks map and faction first in the second 1v1 and in the second 2v2.
Picking order in 2v2: ABBA

Faction cannot be used twice in a match (i.e. if a team uses Alans in the first 1v1, such faction cannot be used by this team in the second 1v1 and in both 2v2).

At least 4 different team member must play during the match. The same 2 players cannot play both of the 2v2s.

I hate to see such low activity and decide on teams to advance based on activity and not the results on the battlefield.

That is why we give you 2 more days (that is till the end of Tuesday) to play your games. I strongly advise TWR to become more active.

I am extremely dissapointed about this match. Especially that the judges will have to decide now which team - RTK2 or TWR advances to the next phase. So a nightmare of a decision.

If any of the captains have anything more to add, please do in this topic. Judges will decide on that matter by the end of this day.

I'll make it easy for the judges. Whilst according to the rules, we were the team awaiting any response from TWR, and so should receive the points for this match up, we offer to decline any points awarded to our team, and suggest that TWR be advanced.
Sometimes sportsmanship is more important than adhering to the letter of the law.

Well, to be honest we had disagreement between the judges about the verdict here. But most (2) were of the opinion that RTK2 should get forfeit for this match and advance further. Because RTK2 acted here according to the rules, and TWR was, well, disappointing in that respect. It is especially surprising because earlier TWR was active and did very well. But I guess we all do have a problem with Attila's MP recently and many people lost interest.

Nevertheless, in such circumstances the judges have no other option than to accept the decision of RTK2 team and let WOLF advance to the next phase from 2nd place.
